The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. An unexpectedly hard shot by Severo Bermudo in the 5th minute of play forced Scofield's goalkeeper Constantino Mel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 6th minute, Severo Bermudo made a precise shot to the right of Constantino Mel. Scofield's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. Scofield's Constantino Mel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Severo Bermudo in the 12th minute of play. After 13 minutes, Ulises Blai mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Scofield and the Utopía Muerta FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 13th minute, Ulises Blai hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Constantino Mel showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Severo Bermudo in the 18th minute of the match. 21 minutes into the match, Scofield's goal looked a bit too open when Severo Bermudo came free, but Constantino Mel reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 22 minutes into the match, Scofield's goal looked a bit too open when Severo Bermudo came free, but Constantino Mel reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 33rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Scofield's goalkeeper Constantino Mel, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Mano Hume showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Samuel Isaio, who was totally free with the ball in the 36th minute. Severo Bermudo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 39th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 41 minutes into the match, Scofield's goal looked a bit too open when Severo Bermudo came free, but Constantino Mel reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The Scofield players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Utopía Muerta FC were winning 0-2.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Severo Bermudo to strike the kick off in the second half. After some fancy dribbling in the 55th minute, Severo Bermudo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Utopía Muerta FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Severo Bermudo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Constantino Mel breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Utopía Muerta FC's Armando Amarita was substituted for Anier Johans. Utopía Muerta FC's Ramón Furtado was substituted for Prudencio Ubelteso. In the 60th minute, Aaron Rodriguez hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 61 minutes of play, Utopía Muerta FC's Ramón Furtado made it 0-4 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Constantino Mel was left in no man's land by his defense there! Scofield's Constantino Mel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Braulio Hibai in the 66th minute of play. 67 minutes into the match, Scofield's goal looked a bit too open when Braulio Hibai came free, but Constantino Mel reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Constantino Mel came out of the goal in the 68th minute to try and stop a shot by Utopía Muerta FC's Armando Amarita. But to his dismay, Armando Amarita quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-6. In the 71st minute Ramón Furtado shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Constantino Mel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ramón Furtado scored 0-7 in the 71st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Constantino Mel, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Mano Hume made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Timoteo Rufo in the 74th minute of play. With a little luck, Scofield's Constantino Mel got control of the ball when Fermin Martinez tried to sneak it across the goal line. Scofield's Constantino Mel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ramón Furtado in the 79th minute of play. Armando Amarita might have been able to make a better finish in the 89th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Constantino Mel. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Armando Amarita ran back to his position shaking his head. 90 minutes into the match, Scofield's goal looked a bit too open when Braulio Hibai came free, but Constantino Mel reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Constantino Mel showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Braulio Hibai, who was totally free with the ball in the 95th minute. Utopía Muerta FC's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
