Nofre Estany stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Donato Paraibano's shot from short distance in the 12th minute. 13 minutes had been played when some careless play by Alianza FC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Donato Paraibano was slow to take the kick. During this time Barões F. C.'s players had a chance to rest. The corner led Barões F. C.'s Donato Paraibano to fire away a dangerous shot which Nofre Estany despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. When Barões F. The audience was convinced that Donato Paraibano's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Nofre Estany was relentless in the 42nd minute of the game. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Alianza FC eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
