Birol Celilay sent away a hard shot on goal in the 22nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 24th minute the ball was on its way in behind Tierras altas AFC's goalkeeper Antonio Natal, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Rio Verde F.C CIMZ's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Marcos Siqueira in the 25th minute. After some careless play in the Tierras altas AFC defense, Marco Erauso kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Antonio Natal. The Tierras altas AFC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Antonio Natal should have stopped the shot. After some fancy dribbling in the 31st minute, Marco Erauso managed to get in a good position for a shot. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.
The wind increased when Temel Lütufkâr made the kick off in the second half. When the match was over Rio Verde F.C CIMZ could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Tierras altas AFC throughout the match.
