Horaţiu Petran showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Roque Claus in the 13th minute of the match. Karl-Åke Brummer made a fantastic save in the 15th minute, when Grigore Stoicu sent off a good shot on target. Karl-Åke Brummer showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Grigore Stoicu, who was totally free with the ball in the 16th minute. After a rather tough play, Lanzenkirchen's Clis PayµN got a free kick in the 29th minute. In the 36th match minute, Lanzenkirchen was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Oliver Gilessen to maneuver through the defense. Roque Claus received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 38th minute. Horaţiu Petran tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 40th minute, Vacib 林义义 reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Karl-Åke Brummer. The goal made the score 1-1. Roque Claus hit a great freekick 42 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sören Bergmann in the 46th minute of play forced Gyál United's goalkeeper Horaţiu Petran to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Erwin Bienvenu was the one to do the kick off. Roque Claus recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 59th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. With a little luck, Gyál United's Horaţiu Petran got control of the ball when Roque Claus tried to sneak it across the goal line. Vacib 林义义 fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 65th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Karl-Åke Brummer having to interfere. Horaţiu Petran made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sören Bergmann in the 72nd minute of play. When Victorio Demesio fell near the penalty area in the 74th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Lanzenkirchen's protests and gave Victorio Demesio a yellow card for diving instead. If Grigore Stoicu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 76th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Victorio Demesio in the 78th minute of play forced Gyál United's goalkeeper Horaţiu Petran to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Konstantinos Kroustallis in the 79th minute of play forced Lanzenkirchen's goalkeeper Karl-Åke Brummer to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Roque Claus in the 86th minute of play forced Gyál United's goalkeeper Horaţiu Petran to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of Lanzenkirchen booed when Gyál United was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 88 match minutes in a wonderful position. Kenyon Lala didn't get a good kick on the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Roque Claus in the 89th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Horaţiu Petran prevented the ball from getting in the gole. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sören Bergmann in the 91st minute of play forced Gyál United's goalkeeper Horaţiu Petran to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Gyál United were furious when Kenyon Lala was red carded, 94 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. The supporters of Lanzenkirchen booed when Gyál United was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 95 match minutes in a wonderful position. Kenyon Lala didn't get a good kick on the ball. Horaţiu Petran made a fantastic save in the 96th minute, when Oliver Gilessen sent off a good shot on target. The crowd rose to their feet as Lanzenkirchen's Oliver Gilessen slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Horaţiu Petran. That made the score 1-2 after 96 minutes of play. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Lanzenkirchen had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
