The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. SSC Napoli were furious when Clovis Christiaens was red carded, 4 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 3rd minute of the game. One of SSC Napoli:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of HHH:s goal. SSC Napoli:s Sakarias Bocklund showed great skill when he stopped Özkan Rafettin:s penalty. Oğuzalp Sayfi hit a great freekick 9 minutes into the match. After a rather tough play, SSC Napoli's Orvar Nykvist got a free kick in the 16th minute. 18 minutes into the game, HHH's Özkan Rafettin nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Sakarias Bocklund made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. After a rather tough play, SSC Napoli's Malte Viklund got a free kick in the 21st minute. Tolga Saye, 21 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Sakarias Bocklund showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Oğuzalp Sayfi in the 23rd minute of the match. In the 24th minute Özkan Rafettin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sakarias Bocklund saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the match clock showed 24 minutes, the score became 0-2 when Özkan Rafettin sped through SSC Napoli's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Sakarias Bocklund. Sakarias Bocklund showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Oğuzalp Sayfi, who was totally free with the ball in the 27th minute. Sakarias Bocklund made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Anıl Berk Erginay in the 28th minute of play. In the 30th minute, Anıl Berk Erginay hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The corner led SSC Napoli's Walter Lindholm to fire away a dangerous shot which Hüsrev Yaşar despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Oğuzalp Sayfi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 38th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Sakarias Bocklund took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Özkan Rafettin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 41st minute of the match HHH got a corner. SSC Napoli's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Tolga Saye ran over to the corner to take the kick. A nice corner shot did that Anıl Berk Erginay got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Sakarias Bocklund quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. After the first half HHH were leading 0-4. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Jens-Erik Andreasson to make the kick off. Avni Ünlüsoy kicked well hit freekick during the 51st minute of the match. Sakarias Bocklund didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when HHH's Göktuğ Yamaç shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 0-5 in the ordered_time% minute. 56 minutes into the match, SSC Napoli's goal looked a bit too open when Anıl Berk Erginay came free, but Sakarias Bocklund reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. SSC Napoli's Sakarias Bocklund played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Özkan Rafettin in the 58th minute of play. Özkan Rafettin succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 0-6 in the 58th playminute. Sakarias Bocklund made a fantastic save in the 61st minute, when Oğuzalp Sayfi sent off a good shot on target. Jens-Erik Andreasson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 62nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hüsrev Yaşar having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Jens-Erik Andreasson in the 66th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Hüsrev Yaşar saved HHH from getting behind. When the match clock showed 66 minutes, the score became 1-6 when Jens-Erik Andreasson sped through HHH's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Hüsrev Yaşar. In the 72nd minute Anıl Berk Erginay shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sakarias Bocklund saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. SSC Napoli's Sakarias Bocklund proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 75th minute of the match, managed to save SSC Napoli from getting a goal against them. Sakarias Bocklund was out of position in the 78 minute of play, and Anıl Berk Erginay capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Anıl Berk Erginay really showed his touch with that goal: 1-7. The audience was convinced that Anıl Berk Erginay's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Sakarias Bocklund was relentless in the 81st minute of the game. 84 minutes into the match, SSC Napoli's goal looked a bit too open when Oğuzalp Sayfi came free, but Sakarias Bocklund reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. HHH's Tolga Saye couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 85th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for SSC Napoli. In the 88th minute, Oğuzalp Sayfi left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The HHH fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-8. SSC Napoli's defense didn't have a chance, in the 91st minute, when Özkan Rafettin scored to the left of an out of position Sakarias Bocklund, making the score, 1-9. Sakarias Bocklund came out of the goal in the 96th minute to try and stop a shot by HHH's Özkan Rafettin. But to his dismay, Özkan Rafettin quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-10.
