In the 22nd minute, Sven Vollander got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Alper Beyhan replaced Cameron Pruett. After 88 minutes Carno FK's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Merrill Pryor who took care of the corner kick. A nice corner shot did that Merrill Pryor got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Hayrullah İrfanoğlu quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. 90 minutes into the match, Aston Villa FC's goalkeeper Filiph Hägg had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Şenel Rafet. Sven Vollander sent away a hard shot on goal in the 94th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With an all-out effort, Carno FK's Filiph Hägg threw himself towards the right post 95 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Şenel Rafet, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. The Aston Villa FC players were eager to celebrate when the final whistle sounded. They had somehow managed to win, even though the away team had held the majority of the possession.
