In the 30th minute the ball was on its way in behind Mean Machine's goalkeeper Menios Chloros, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Hubert Finken to make the kick off. Menios Chloros made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Heinz-Dieter Schwabenland in the 52nd minute of play. Heinz-Dieter Schwabenland fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Menios Chloros having to interfere. Mean Machine's Menios Chloros played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Adrian Meinhardt in the 56th minute of play. Menios Chloros showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tobias Pfister in the 59th minute of the match. Peter Achteresch showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Archibaldo Peñaranda, who was totally free with the ball in the 70th minute. Peter Achteresch was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Archibaldo Peñaranda showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-2 in the 71 minute of play. Mean Machine made a substitution. Luca Milivojević replaced Lakis Mantarinakis. Mean Machine's Agnaldo Braga was substituted for Archibaldo Peñaranda. In the 88thth minute of the game Hubert Finken who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Mean Machine's Menios Chloros was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Menios Chloros showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Oscar Reichert in the 89th minute of the match. Menios Chloros took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Heinz-Dieter Schwabenland, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When the match had gone on for 92 minutes, Carles Pujol took a quick shot and it went in 2-3 without a chance for Peter Achteresch to make any attempt to save it.
