The corner ended in Ahmet Korcan Gökalp almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Club Atlético Lanús's Fernando Navarro Montoya did a great save. Murray Schmitz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 18th minute. Sezai Yura tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 25th minute, Germanas Judeikis left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Lokomotiv Bornova fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. In the 27th minute, Ahmet Korcan Gökalp hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Germanas Judeikis took the ball and in the 33 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Fernando Navarro Montoya. Fernando Navarro Montoya dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. If Germanas Judeikis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Fernando Navarro Montoya made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Germanas Judeikis in the 39th minute of play. Fernando Navarro Montoya took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Germanas Judeikis, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 43 played minutes Lokomotiv Bornova got a freekick which was hit by Ömür Bürge. The Club Atlético Lanús players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Lokomotiv Bornova were winning 0-2.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Lothaire Maddox made a kick off. Fernando Navarro Montoya made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Germanas Judeikis in the 53rd minute of play. Sezai Yura showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lothaire Maddox, who was totally free with the ball in the 54th minute. 63 minutes into the match, Lokomotiv Bornova's Germanas Judeikis sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Fernando Navarro Montoya narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Lothaire Maddox in the 64th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Sezai Yura prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Germanas Judeikis sent away a hard shot on goal in the 66th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Fernando Navarro Montoya took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Germanas Judeikis, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 71st minute, Germanas Judeikis made a precise shot to the right of Fernando Navarro Montoya. Club Atlético Lanús's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-4. Sezai Yura showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lothaire Maddox in the 74th minute of the match. Germanas Judeikis did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 0-5 to the left of a surprised Fernando Navarro Montoya 75 minutes into the match. After some careless play in the Club Atlético Lanús defense, Germanas Judeikis kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Fernando Navarro Montoya. The Club Atlético Lanús fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Fernando Navarro Montoya should have stopped the shot. The Lokomotiv Bornova players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
