In the 10th minute, Robert Collen left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The KOO Tigers fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Uğuralp Vasfi stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Germanas Judeikis's shot from short distance in the 13th minute. After a defensive mix-up in KOO Tigers's zone, Germanas Judeikis stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Uğuralp Vasfi came out of the goal and Germanas Judeikis tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. KOO Tigers's Uğuralp Vasfi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Germanas Judeikis in the 18th minute of play. Uğuralp Vasfi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Germanas Judeikis, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Sezai Yura showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Robert Collen in the 36th minute of the match. In the 37th minute Robert Collen shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sezai Yura saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Germanas Judeikis in the 38th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Uğuralp Vasfi prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Lokomotiv Bornova's Ahmet Korcan Gökalp was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Uğuralp Vasfi in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Uğuralp Vasfi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Germanas Judeikis in the 44th minute of play. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Germanas Judeikis was the one to do the kick off. Xiao Yu Chao who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 63rdth minute tested the skills of Sezai Yura when he managed to save the team from getting behind. 65 minutes into the match, Lokomotiv Bornova's goal looked a bit too open when Xiao Yu Chao came free, but Sezai Yura reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Robert Collen blasted a shot towards the goal in the 73rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Sezai Yura having to make a save. Sezai Yura took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Robert Collen, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Robert Collen could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 80th minute of the match, but Sezai Yura made a huge save. In the 81st minute the ball was on its way in behind KOO Tigers's goalkeeper Uğuralp Vasfi, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After 86 played minutes Lokomotiv Bornova got a freekick which was hit by Yerko Rey. Sezai Yura showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Robert Collen, who was totally free with the ball in the 95th minute. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. KOO Tigers walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
