Frinnaryd were awarded a corner in the 29th minute after EC AliensCrazy 2023's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Hans Söderqvist took the corner. Frinnaryd's Li Nan Yu was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Arnold Meijers in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Anders Röd received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 32nd minute. Jan Lindström tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Arnold Meijers took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Karl-Ove Rolfsson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Cihangir Ocakçı fell near the penalty area in the 46th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored EC AliensCrazy 2023's protests and gave Cihangir Ocakçı a yellow card for diving instead. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.
