Spectators: 169 (Terracing: 127, Seating: 39, VIP seats: 3) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Iso Gulli started the match with the kick off. If Radomir Šiljak had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 6th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some careless play in the Porvoon Futura defense, Matei Cârstea kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Francesco Toldo. The Porvoon Futura fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Francesco Toldo should have stopped the shot. 14 minutes into the match, Iso Gulli had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Deyan Tătăruşanu. Carp Team's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Iso Gulli was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. Francesco Toldo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gelu Zglobiu in the 17th minute of play. Deyan Tătăruşanu made a fantastic save in the 20th minute, when Paavo Hirvonen sent off a good shot on target. 22 minutes into the match, Carp Team's goal looked a bit too open when Iso Gulli came free, but Deyan Tătăruşanu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Radomir Šiljak had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Matei Cârstea in the 28th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Francesco Toldo prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Francesco Toldo stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Gelu Zglobiu's shot from short distance in the 35th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Matei Cârstea in the 38th minute of play forced Porvoon Futura's goalkeeper Francesco Toldo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Gelu Zglobiu made a kick off. Francesco Toldo came out of the goal in the 51st minute to try and stop a shot by Carp Team's Gelu Zglobiu. But to his dismay, Gelu Zglobiu quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. In the 55th minute Gelu Zglobiu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Francesco Toldo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Gelu Zglobiu came up free with the goalie in the 57th minute, the Carp Team fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gelu Zglobiu couldn't finish the play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gelu Zglobiu in the 59th minute of play forced Porvoon Futura's goalkeeper Francesco Toldo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Radomir Šiljak's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 60thth minute, Francesco Toldo skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. After 63 minutes, Eugen Iordan mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Porvoon Futura and the Carp Team players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 67th minute, Iso Gulli got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 68 played minutes Porvoon Futura got a freekick which was hit by King Cock. Otto Veispak made in the 72nd minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Gelu Zglobiu. Paavo Hirvonen sent away a hard shot on goal in the 83rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Francesco Toldo made a fantastic save in the 85th minute, when Matei Cârstea sent off a good shot on target. In the 91st match minute, Porvoon Futura was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by King Cock to maneuver through the defense. Carp Team's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
