Décio Rezende showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Pepe Galnares in the 12th minute of the match. Michel Hervé might have been able to make a better finish in the 15th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Décio Rezende. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Michel Hervé ran back to his position shaking his head. Barrikako Herensugeak F.C's Erik Thorstvedt played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sílvio Luiz Mazza in the 20th minute of play. In the 25th minute Carlos Salles shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Erik Thorstvedt saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 55 played minutes Barrikako Herensugeak F.C got a freekick which was hit by Valdemar Guerreiro. 56 minutes into the match, Caveira F.C's Iuri Peixoto broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. If Carlos Salles had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Michel Hervé received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 59th minute. Décio Rezende tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 60 played minutes Barrikako Herensugeak F.C got a freekick which was hit by Pepe Galnares. 69 minutes into the match, Caveira F.C's Tito Castro sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Erik Thorstvedt narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Caveira F.C's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
