In the 18thth minute of the game Erwin Soto who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Carp Team's Calistrat Bordeianu was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Through an outstanding action, after 19 minutes, Richard Mandrak successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Carp Team's Calistrat Bordeianu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Erwin Soto in the 22nd minute of play. A collision led to Caveira F.C getting a freekick after 24 minutes play. Ian Peixoto hit a great ball. With a little luck, Caveira F.C's Richard Mandrak got control of the ball when Radomir Šiljak tried to sneak it across the goal line. Radomir Šiljaks short, quick shot in the 26thth minute got Richard Mandrak to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. 31 minutes in the game, Gelu Zglobiu dribbled his way through the penalty area and after maneuvering past an opponent, drilled a quick shot at the goal. The ball looked like it was going in, but it was hit a bit too hard and flew over the goal. In the 34th minute, Toader Valerian hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Calistrat Bordeianu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sílvio Luiz Mazza in the 36th minute of play. Calistrat Bordeianu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tito Castro, who was totally free with the ball in the 44th minute. After some careless play in the Carp Team defense, Tito Castro kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Calistrat Bordeianu. The Carp Team fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Calistrat Bordeianu should have stopped the shot. The Carp Team players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Caveira F.C were winning 0-1.
