After a rather tough play, Kickers United's Benjamin Vandekerkhove got a free kick in the 2nd minute. Leonard Billström recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 3rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Birvan Spor Kulübü's Henry de Vries played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jorge Reijnders in the 8th minute of play. In the 13th minute Vecdi Sulasi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cederik Huts saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Cederik Huts took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Yüksel Refah, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Kickers United's Cederik Huts played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Yüksel Refah in the 19th minute of play. If Yüksel Refah had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience thought a goal was coming when Suphi Verim got free with Cederik Huts in the 28th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Henry de Vries took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jorge Reijnders, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Henry de Vries made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jorge Reijnders in the 31st minute of play. 36 minutes into the game, Yüksel Refah recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Cederik Huts. Yüksel Refah showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. Zdzislaw Radzyminski kicked well hit freekick during the 45th minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Suphi Verim got free with Cederik Huts in the 46th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Luca Savino to strike the kick off in the second half. Birvan Spor Kulübü's Henry de Vries played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jorge Reijnders in the 52nd minute of play. Blas Lertxun's late challenge caught a Birvan Spor Kulübü's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Blas Lertxun helped the player get up and apologised. In the 58th minute, Blas Lertxun hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A collision led to Birvan Spor Kulübü getting a freekick after 65 minutes play. Vecdi Sulasi hit a great ball. Kickers United made a substitution. Lode Rouvroys replaced Jorge Reijnders. After 67 played minutes Birvan Spor Kulübü got a freekick which was hit by Vecdi Sulasi. 71 minutes into the match, Birvan Spor Kulübü's goal looked a bit too open when Lode Rouvroys came free, but Henry de Vries reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With an all-out effort, Kickers United's Henry de Vries threw himself towards the right post 71 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Lode Rouvroys, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. An unexpectedly hard shot by Pankracy Modrzewski in the 72nd minute of play forced Kickers United's goalkeeper Cederik Huts to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Cederik Huts made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Yüksel Refah in the 73rd minute of play. Birvan Spor Kulübü made a substitution. Tolga Gözlem replaced Leonard Billström. The player immediately received a yellow card. Henry de Vries showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lode Rouvroys in the 91st minute of the match. In the 95th minute, Lode Rouvroys hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.
