After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The wind increased when Gonçalo Mattos made the kick off in the second half. In the 57th minute, Luciano Monteiro made a precise shot to the right of Tomé Mota. Agua Santa's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. In the 69th minute Rune Myr shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tomé Mota saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 77th minute the ball was on its way in behind Aurora FC's goalkeeper Adilson das Neves, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Thiago Botelho hit a great freekick 94 minutes into the match. Neither set of supporters seemed pleased with the draw, but both teams had played equally well today.
