Everyone was convinced a goal was close when Wiesenfeld SA's Ignacy Skirzynski in the 15th minute lifted the ball towards the upper right corner, but Ali Nejat Özertem was perfectly placed and prevented a goal for Colombo A.C. through an amazing save. Gwidon Jaworski showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ricardinho Dantas, who was totally free with the ball in the 16th minute. Ignacy Skirzynski fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ali Nejat Özertem having to interfere. Şehzade Faydalı hit a great freekick 19 minutes into the match. 23 minutes into the match, Colombo A.C.'s Ricardinho Dantas sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Gwidon Jaworski narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Ricardinho Dantas recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 27th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 29th minute, Ricardinho Dantas made a precise shot to the right of Gwidon Jaworski. Wiesenfeld SA's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. In the 33rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Wiesenfeld SA's goalkeeper Gwidon Jaworski, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 35 minutes into the match, Colombo A.C.'s Ricardinho Dantas sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Gwidon Jaworski narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Colombo A.C.'s Lauro Neiva was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Gwidon Jaworski in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. 43 minutes into the match, Ricardinho Dantas had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Gwidon Jaworski. Wiesenfeld SA's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Ricardinho Dantas was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. A sloppy throw-in by Manoel Alagoano in the 47th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Wiesenfeld SA's Zdzislaw Ryback. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Ricardinho Dantas made a kick off. In the 52nd minute, Ricardinho Dantas ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Gwidon Jaworski was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-3. Wiesenfeld SA's defense didn't have a chance, in the 59th minute, when Ricardinho Dantas scored to the left of an out of position Gwidon Jaworski, making the score, 0-4. Colombo A.C.'s Edu Correia was substituted for Julian Tomporowski. In the 65th minute, Roland Wallach hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Colombo A.C.'s Aitor Cintron was substituted for Adrien Caillol. In the 66th match minute, Wiesenfeld SA was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Roland Wallach to maneuver through the defense. With a little luck, Wiesenfeld SA's Gwidon Jaworski got control of the ball when Ian Cosme tried to sneak it across the goal line. 73 minutes in the game Manoel Alagoano did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Ian Cosme. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ignacy Skirzynski in the 75th minute of play forced Colombo A.C.'s goalkeeper Ali Nejat Özertem to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ian Cosme in the 79th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Gwidon Jaworski saved Wiesenfeld SA from getting behind. With a little luck, Wiesenfeld SA's Gwidon Jaworski got control of the ball when Geovanni Mesquita tried to sneak it across the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Wiesenfeld SA's zone, Lauro Neiva stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Gwidon Jaworski came out of the goal and Lauro Neiva tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Wiesenfeld SA's attentive Zdzislaw Ryback managed to snatch the ball when Manoel Alagoano made a throw-in in the 92nd minute of the game. The Wiesenfeld SA manager could be seen shouting at his players as they walked down the tunnel after the match. He was clearly angry that they had squandered their superior possession, allowing Colombo A.C. to win.
