The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Guo Jing Yuan made a kick off. Willem-Jan Hollanders stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Patrik Újvári's shot from short distance in the 51st minute. Béla Simon made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bryan Creemers in the 53rd minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Guo Jing Yuan got free with Willem-Jan Hollanders in the 91st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort.
