Joe Camp showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rui Calçada in the 14th minute of the match. Rodolfo Miguéis made in the 22nd minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Rui Calçada however managed to control. Eliseu Bragança showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Felix Emmanuel, who was totally free with the ball in the 30th minute. The supporters of Campus Douro Academy booed when Cats and dogs was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 32 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gaétan Bouchard didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 36th minute, Felix Emmanuel made a precise shot to the right of Eliseu Bragança. Campus Douro Academy's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-2. After a rather tough play, Cats and dogs's Salim Vera got a free kick in the 43rd minute.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Vedat Burçhan was the one to do the kick off. Joe Camp made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rui Calçada in the 56th minute of play. Eliseu Bragança made a fantastic save in the 57th minute, when Nicolas Hamard sent off a good shot on target. In the 62nd minute, Bérenger Ethève hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Campus Douro Academy's Rodolfo Montay was substituted for Rui Calçada. The supporters of Campus Douro Academy booed when Cats and dogs was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 63 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bérenger Ethève didn't get a good kick on the ball. Cats and dogs's Joe Camp played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Álvaro Machado in the 65th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nicolas Hamard in the 67th minute of play forced Campus Douro Academy's goalkeeper Eliseu Bragança to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Rodolfo Montay fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 71st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Joe Camp having to interfere. Campus Douro Academy made a substitution. Alfredo Lemos replaced Amadeu Seabra. After a rather tough play, Cats and dogs's Gaétan Bouchard got a free kick in the 74th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Felix Emmanuel got free with Eliseu Bragança in the 77th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After taking down the ball on Cats and dogs's corner Nicolas Hamard fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Eliseu Bragança quite easily take care of the ball. After a rather tough play, Cats and dogs's Franklin Boch got a free kick in the 80th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rodolfo Montay in the 80th minute of play forced Cats and dogs's goalkeeper Joe Camp to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Manuel Caetano kicked well hit freekick during the 82nd minute of the match. Joe Camp took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fabrice Dewitte, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Campus Douro Academy were unable to convert their possession into goals, allowing Cats and dogs to leave the ground with a draw.
