In the 75th minute of the match FC Hamburg got a corner. Piratas FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. When the match had gone on for 79 minutes, Jan Apostel took a quick shot and it went in 1-5 without a chance for Raimond Lenk to make any attempt to save it. Enrique Pratas short, quick shot in the 87thth minute got Raimond Lenk to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in.
