Spectators: 154 (Terracing: 116, Seating: 35, VIP seats: 3) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Adolfo Vogel took the kick off in the first half of the match. Sten Andreasson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Enrique Prata, who was totally free with the ball in the 5th minute. The supporters of The Reds booed when FC Hamburg was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 7 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jan Apostel didn't get a good kick on the ball. Adolfo Vogel blasted a shot towards the goal in the 8th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Alban Bolesta having to make a save. In the 10th minute Jan Apostel shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sten Andreasson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Jan Apostel in the 13th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Sten Andreasson prevented the ball from getting in the gole. A collision led to FC Hamburg getting a freekick after 20 minutes play. Angelo Grabs hit a great ball. Sten Andreasson came out of the goal in the 24th minute to try and stop a shot by FC Hamburg's Enrique Prata. But to his dismay, Enrique Prata quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Enrique Prata in the 27th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Sten Andreasson prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When the match clock showed 29 minutes, the score became 0-3 when Jan Apostel sped through The Reds's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Sten Andreasson. After a defensive mix-up in The Reds's zone, Jan Apostel stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Sten Andreasson came out of the goal and Jan Apostel tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 36 minutes, Jan Apostel made it 0-4 with a short kick to the right side. The Reds's Sten Andreasson tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Eduard Hilpert hit a great freekick 40 minutes into the match. The crowd rose to their feet as Adolfo Vogel kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Alban Bolesta. That made the score 1-4 in the 42 minute of play. Disappointed in the 1-4 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The wind increased when Enrique Prata made the kick off in the second half. The Reds's Sten Andreasson proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 52nd minute of the match, managed to save The Reds from getting a goal against them. 53 minutes into the match, Jan Apostel dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Sten Andreasson, 1-5. 55 minutes into the match, The Reds's goal looked a bit too open when Jan Apostel came free, but Sten Andreasson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the last second Sten Andreasson throw himself and got hold of the ball when Jan Apostel in the 57thth minute from his position got away a shot towards the right post. With his leg Sten Andreasson managed to avoid a goal in the 62ndth minute, when FC Hamburg's Enrique Prata fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Alban Bolesta took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Adolfo Vogel, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 68 minutes The Reds's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Hendrik Holletschek who took care of the corner kick. A well-hit corner resulted in Darius Minge heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. After 72 played minutes The Reds got a freekick which was hit by Richard Frykberg. In the 74th minute, FC Hamburg's Jan Apostel dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-6. FC Hamburg's Enrique Prata was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 81st play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. In the 88th minute, Benny Kvick hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When FC Hamburg's Jan Apostel in the 91st minute got a chance for a shot 91st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye The Reds's goalie prevented a goal. Enrique Pratas short, quick shot in the 95thth minute got Sten Andreasson to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. The FC Hamburg players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
