But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Zygmunt Pawlik couldn't finish the play. With an all-out effort, Justicialista FC's Roger Federer threw himself towards the right post 24 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Caio Pereira, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. The crowd rose to their feet as Justicialista FC's Teodoro Eneko slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Roger Federer. That made the score 2-0 after 27 minutes of play. Cirilo Eliu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Zygmunt Pawlik, who was totally free with the ball in the 33rd minute.
