The supporters of The Reds booed when KP Chemik Police was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 5 match minutes in a wonderful position. Edward Nowakowski didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 12th minute Benedykt Zurawski shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sten Andreasson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Raimundo Larra could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 20th minute of the match, but Sten Andreasson made a huge save. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Adolfo Vogel in the 21st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Roger Federer saved KP Chemik Police from getting behind. In the 23rd minute, KP Chemik Police's Ulryk Turak ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Sten Andreasson. Sten Andreasson yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. After a rather tough play, KP Chemik Police's Guto Sabóia got a free kick in the 26th minute. KP Chemik Police were furious when Bogdan Kasprzykowski was red carded, 27 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. Roger Federer had in the 29thth minute some difficulties stopping Benny Kvick's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. In the 31st minute of the match KP Chemik Police got a corner. The Reds's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Napoleon Marchlewicz ran over to the corner to take the kick. Rafal Huratiak hit a great freekick 42 minutes into the match. Ulryk Turak fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sten Andreasson having to interfere. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Raimundo Larra stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 54 minutes into the match, The Reds's Fred Isaksson sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Roger Federer narrowly saved just below the crossbar. KP Chemik Police's Roger Federer proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 57th minute of the match, managed to save KP Chemik Police from getting a goal against them. When the match had gone on for 60 minutes, Raimundo Larra put it in 2-0 from a short distance just to the right of Sten Andreasson. KP Chemik Police made a substitution.
