Ildefonso Bartolome took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Adolfo Fidensio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 34th minute Augusto Arnalt shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Benjamin Tino saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a left leg Ildefonso Bartolome saved TOYOTA Panasonic RacingF1 from getting behind. 46 minutes into the match, TOYOTA Panasonic RacingF1's goal looked a bit too open when Indiana Jones came free, but Ildefonso Bartolome reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Indiana Jones to make the kick off. The audience thought a goal was coming when Indiana Jones got free with Ildefonso Bartolome in the 75th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. With a little luck, TOYOTA Panasonic RacingF1's Ildefonso Bartolome got control of the ball when Indiana Jones tried to sneak it across the goal line.
