The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Indiana Jones blasted a shot towards the goal in the 5th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Stelian Butuc having to make a save. Indiana Jones came free with the goalkeeper in the 5th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Stelian Butuc could save by the left post. Benjamin Tino took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Iwo Tamulewicz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Dacians Academy's Stelian Butuc proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 14th minute of the match, managed to save Dacians Academy from getting a goal against them. Stelian Butuc made a fantastic save in the 22nd minute, when Indiana Jones sent off a good shot on target. Stelian Butuc showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Indiana Jones in the 24th minute of the match. Benjamin Tino showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Xavi Popescu in the 30th minute of the match. In the 30th minute Xavi Popescu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Benjamin Tino saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Manole Anghel in the 45th minute of play forced Club El Progreso's goalkeeper Benjamin Tino to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Indiana Jones was the one to do the kick off. Indiana Jones's late challenge caught a Dacians Academy's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Indiana Jones helped the player get up and apologised. In the 61st minute, Indiana Jones made a precise shot to the right of Stelian Butuc. Dacians Academy's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-0. With his leg Benjamin Tino managed to avoid a goal in the 64thth minute, when Dacians Academy's Manole Anghel fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Stelian Butuc made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Indiana Jones in the 65th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Iwo Tamulewicz in the 67th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Benjamin Tino saved Club El Progreso from getting behind. Benjamin Tino was a little too slow when Iwo Tamulewicz got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 68th minute. The score was now 3-1. 75 minutes into the match, Club El Progreso's Indiana Jones sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Stelian Butuc narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 80th minute Iwo Tamulewicz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Benjamin Tino saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Club El Progreso's Benjamin Tino proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 84th minute of the match, managed to save Club El Progreso from getting a goal against them. Stelian Butuc was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 95 minutes into the match, Dacians Academy's goal looked a bit too open when Indiana Jones came free, but Stelian Butuc reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Benjamin Tino took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Iwo Tamulewicz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. For all the effort they put into the match, the Dacians Academy players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Club El Progreso.
