When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Emilio Cascajares made a kick off. Eskil Vester was out of position in the 56 minute of play, and Tirso Isasaga capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Tirso Isasaga really showed his touch with that goal: 2-1. With an all-out effort, Olympique Gdynia's Eskil Vester threw himself towards the right post 58 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Şota Arveladze, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Eskil Vester didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Czeslaw Domeracki went, in the 61st minute, to the upper right corner, 2-2 was the resulting score. In the 65th minute Olympique Gdynia were awarded a corner. Fabio-Roman Zabaleta went to the cornerflag to take it.
