The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 4th minute the ball was on its way in behind Pretoria Gostyń's goalkeeper Sylwester Chazon, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After 5 minutes, Matey Matakiev mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Lokomotiv Plovdiv and the Pretoria Gostyń players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 5th minute, Matey Matakiev hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With a little luck, Lokomotiv Plovdiv's Krasimir Mishovski got control of the ball when Piotr Jucha tried to sneak it across the goal line. Pretoria Gostyń's Piotr Jucha managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Zhou Yao Si in the 15 minute of the game. Tomás Clodio came free with the goalkeeper in the 16th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Krasimir Mishovski could save by the left post. Facundo Nazario recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 17th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Sylwester Chazon showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Facundo Nazario in the 26th minute of the match. Lukasz Rekawiczka struck a weak shot in the 27th minute. Krasimir Mishovski didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Pretoria Gostyń. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Mirolyub Dragoychev during the 29th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 31st minute, Krasen Kalenov hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Facundo Nazario might have been able to make a better finish in the 34th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Sylwester Chazon. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Facundo Nazario ran back to his position shaking his head. Facundo Nazario received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 39th minute. Sylwester Chazon tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 41 minutes into the match, Pretoria Gostyń's goal looked a bit too open when Facundo Nazario came free, but Sylwester Chazon reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Sylwester Chazon made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Facundo Nazario in the 43rd minute of play. Mirolyub Dragoychev was shown his second yellow card after 44 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. The supporters of Pretoria Gostyń booed when Lokomotiv Plovdiv was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 44 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mirolyub Dragoychev didn't get a good kick on the ball. Lokomotiv Plovdiv's Zhou Yao Si quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Aureliusz Komornicki, made in the 46th minute of the game. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Facundo Nazario in the 48th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Sylwester Chazon prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Facundo Nazario was the one to do the kick off. Krasimir Mishovski showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Piotr Jucha in the 56th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Pretoria Gostyń's zone, Facundo Nazario stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Sylwester Chazon came out of the goal and Facundo Nazario tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 59th minute, Tomás Clodio managed to get in a good position for a shot. Pretoria Gostyń's supporters rose to their feet, but Tomás Clodio was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Krasimir Mishovski breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Krasimir Mishovski took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Aureliusz Komornicki, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Sylwester Chazon showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Facundo Nazario, who was totally free with the ball in the 66th minute. Aureliusz Komornicki made in the 67th minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Piotr Jucha however managed to control. When Pretoria Gostyń's Lukasz Rekawiczka in the 70th minute got a chance for a shot 70th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Lokomotiv Plovdiv's goalie prevented a goal. Jiang Bing Yi charged in rather forcefully in the 72nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Jiang Bing Yi the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 72nd match minute, Lokomotiv Plovdiv was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jiang Bing Yi to maneuver through the defense. In the 73rd minute, Lokomotiv Plovdiv's Lin Feng Xi seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Lin Feng Xi the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Lokomotiv Plovdiv protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Lin Feng Xi had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. Archie Sangil received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 90th minute. Sylwester Chazon tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Lokomotiv Plovdiv's Krasimir Mishovski played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Julian Biskupiak in the 93rd minute of play. Jiang Bing Yi kicked well hit freekick during the 95th minute of the match. Pretoria Gostyń's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
