AC Collins's Edinho do Nascimento was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 13th play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. In the 16th minute, Paulo Godoi left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Palestra do Interior fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Paulo Godoi in the 21st minute of play forced AC Collins's goalkeeper Lin Shi Qing to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 23 minutes into the match, AC Collins's goal looked a bit too open when Paulo Godoi came free, but Lin Shi Qing reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Paulo Godoi in the 23rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Lin Shi Qing prevented the ball from getting in the gole. If Reynaldo Sena had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Lin Shi Qing took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Paulo Godoi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Lin Shi Qing showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Paulo Godoi in the 32nd minute of the match. In the 41st minute Paulo Godoi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lin Shi Qing saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The wind increased when Paulo Godoi made the kick off in the second half. After 50 played minutes AC Collins got a freekick which was hit by Lamine Yamaleev. A collision led to Palestra do Interior getting a freekick after 57 minutes play. Paulo Godoi hit a great ball. After 60 played minutes AC Collins got a freekick which was hit by Boleslaw Limanowski. Palestra do Interior's Hudson Sergipano was substituted for Niclas Danielsson. Palestra do Interior made a substitution. Vitório Lago replaced Paulo Godoi. Boleslaw Limanowski kicked well hit freekick during the 61st minute of the match. The supporters of Palestra do Interior booed when AC Collins was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 62 match minutes in a wonderful position. Slawomir Soszka didn't get a good kick on the ball. 66 minutes into the game, Vitório Lago recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Lin Shi Qing. Vitório Lago showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-2. 吴洲坚 fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 70th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lin Shi Qing having to interfere. Reynaldo Sena received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 71st minute. Lin Shi Qing tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Vitório Lago had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 74 minutes into the game, one of AC Collins:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. AC Collins:s Lin Shi Qing showed great skill when he stopped Vitório Lago:s penalty. Boleslaw Limanowski made in the 78th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Palestra do Interior's Eugênio Alagoano. Lin Shi Qing made a fantastic save in the 81st minute, when Vitório Lago sent off a good shot on target. The audience thought a goal was coming when Vitório Lago got free with Lin Shi Qing in the 88th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Eugênio Alagoano kicked well hit freekick during the 89th minute of the match. In the 90th minute of the match Lamine Yamaleev shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Allan Varela showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. In the 92nd minute Edinho do Nascimento shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Allan Varela saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 94 minutes in the game Boleslaw Limanowski did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Mel Önen. Vitório Lago took the ball and in the 97 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Lin Shi Qing. Lin Shi Qing dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-3. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Palestra do Interior had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
