In the 5th match minute, Lokomotiv Plovdiv was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Krasen Kalenov to maneuver through the defense. Facundo Nazario recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 10th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Krasimir Mishovski showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nicanor Eskuin in the 17th minute of the match. Facundo Nazario blasted a shot towards the goal in the 19th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Rodolfo Ricart having to make a save. 21 minutes into the game, Lokomotiv Plovdiv's Facundo Nazario nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Rodolfo Ricart made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Acun Timuroz in the 26th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Krasimir Mishovski saved Lokomotiv Plovdiv from getting behind. When the match had gone on for 26 minutes, Acun Timuroz put it in 1-1 from a short distance just to the right of Krasimir Mishovski. In the 35th minute Baskın Nihat shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Krasimir Mishovski saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Zhou Yao Si sent away a hard shot on goal in the 37th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Elpidio Gonzales had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some careless play in the Lokomotiv Plovdiv defense, Nicanor Eskuin kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Krasimir Mishovski. The Lokomotiv Plovdiv fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Krasimir Mishovski should have stopped the shot. In the 46th match minute, TEMPLE F.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Acun Timuroz to maneuver through the defense. After the first half TEMPLE F.C. were leading 1-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Elpidio Gonzales to make the kick off. The audience thought a goal was coming when Elpidio Gonzales got free with Krasimir Mishovski in the 54th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 57th minute Facundo Nazario shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rodolfo Ricart saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Russell Romero made in the 62nd minute of the game a quick throw-in and Octavio Isadore immediately put the ball in play. 68 minutes into the match, Lokomotiv Plovdiv's goalkeeper Krasimir Mishovski had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Elpidio Gonzales. Rodolfo Ricart showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Facundo Nazario in the 83rd minute of the match. A collision led to Lokomotiv Plovdiv getting a freekick after 88 minutes play. Matey Matakiev hit a great ball. In the 90th minute, Matey Matakiev hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Rodolfo Ricart showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Facundo Nazario, who was totally free with the ball in the 92nd minute. The supporters of Lokomotiv Plovdiv booed when TEMPLE F.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 93 match minutes in a wonderful position. Russell Romero didn't get a good kick on the ball. Facundo Nazario received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 95th minute. Rodolfo Ricart tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. TEMPLE F.C. played a much better game than Lokomotiv Plovdiv and deserved their victory. The Lokomotiv Plovdiv players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
