The AC Collins fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Lin Shi Qing should have stopped the shot. Lin Shi Qing showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alejandro Martxelin, who was totally free with the ball in the 14th minute. The crowd rose to their feet as Alejandro Martxelin kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Lin Shi Qing. That made the score 2-0 in the 16 minute of play. In the 19th minute, Didi Valletta hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 20th minute César Pretot saw that he had a good position to shoot and he shot a long ball on target, but the ball went just outside the left post. Capo de Provincia's attack was well implemented in the 20th minute, but when Alejandro Martxelin was about to shoot he didn't get a good hit on the ball and it hit the crossbar and flew over. Goal Kick. Lin Shi Qing took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alejandro Martxelin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Héctor Barra made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Edinho do Nascimento in the 24th minute of play. In the 25th minute Alejandro Martxelin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lin Shi Qing saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 29th minute, Edinho do Nascimento hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A collision led to AC Collins getting a freekick after 34 minutes play. Slawomir Soszka hit a great ball. Alejandro Martxelin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 36th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alejandro Martxelin in the 36th minute of play forced AC Collins's goalkeeper Lin Shi Qing to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Alejandro Martxelin recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 38th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. AC Collins's Lin Shi Qing played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alejandro Martxelin in the 40th minute of play. When Alexander Di Persio got free in front of the goal in the 42nd minute he wasn't very focused and chipped the ball just over the goal. Héctor Barra was delighted since he was out of position and the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. After 44 played minutes AC Collins got a freekick which was hit by Cesare Barberio. After a rather tough play, AC Collins's Kai Piroška got a free kick in the 45th minute. With a little luck, AC Collins's Lin Shi Qing got control of the ball when César Pretot tried to sneak it across the goal line. After some careless play in the Capo de Provincia defense, Edinho do Nascimento kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Héctor Barra. The Capo de Provincia fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Héctor Barra should have stopped the shot. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-1 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Alejandro Martxelin made a kick off. AC Collins's Lin Shi Qing played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by César Pretot in the 55th minute of play. With an all-out effort, AC Collins's Héctor Barra threw himself towards the right post 59 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Alexander Di Persio, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. 60 minutes into the game, Alejandro Martxelin cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-1. Lin Shi Qing was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Héctor Barra was a little too slow when Edinho do Nascimento got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 63rd minute. The score was now 3-2. Capo de Provincia made a substitution. Luis Jiménez replaced Alejandro Martxelin. Cesare Barberio kicked well hit freekick during the 72nd minute of the match. César Pretot was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 72nd played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Lin Shi Qing showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Juan Riquelme in the 75th minute of the match.
