Spectators: 161 (Terracing: 121, Seating: 37, VIP seats: 3) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Boruc Spychalski started the match with the kick off. The supporters of Juventus Telford booed when Independiente was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 6 match minutes in a wonderful position. Flavio Tanio didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 11th minute, Leonides Ihazintu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kevin Hellkvist in the 12th minute of play forced Independiente's goalkeeper Bartolo Idacio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Luizinho Paranaense took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Maikel Jol, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 17 minutes Juventus Telford's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Maikel Jol who took care of the corner kick. After taking down the ball on Independiente's corner Flavio Tanio fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Luizinho Paranaense quite easily take care of the ball. 22 minutes into the match, Independiente's goal looked a bit too open when Pedro Henry came free, but Bartolo Idacio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ciriaco Maule kicked well hit freekick during the 26th minute of the match. Luizinho Paranaense made an important save on a dangerous shot by Emanuel Benet in the 36th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 39th minute, Xu Wei Kun managed to get in a good position for a shot. Independiente's supporters rose to their feet, but Xu Wei Kun was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Luizinho Paranaense breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 43rd match minute, Independiente was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Leonides Ihazintu to maneuver through the defense. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The wind increased when Eriberto Truylos made the kick off in the second half. After having played for 51 minutes, Eriberto Truylos managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. In the 81st minute Martin Suy shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Luizinho Paranaense saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 82ndth minute of the game Eriberto Truylos who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Juventus Telford's Luizinho Paranaense was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 83rd minute Independiente were awarded a corner. Maikel Jol went to the cornerflag to take it. Luizinho Paranaense showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Eriberto Truylos in the 88th minute of the match. Kevin Hellkvist received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 90th minute. Bartolo Idacio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With an all-out effort, Juventus Telford's Bartolo Idacio threw himself towards the right post 93 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Kevin Hellkvist, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Independiente's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
