When Geetsvondel²'s Matias Oyen in the 8th minute got a chance for a shot 8th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Toutourouki f.c.'s goalie prevented a goal. In the 11th minute the ball was on its way in behind Toutourouki f.c.'s goalkeeper Tolis Mantouvalos, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 11 minutes into the match, Matias Oyen dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Tolis Mantouvalos, 1-0. After 14 minutes of play, Geetsvondel²'s Matias Oyen made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Tolis Mantouvalos was left in no man's land by his defense there! Matias Oyen might have been able to make a better finish in the 18th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Tolis Mantouvalos. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Matias Oyen ran back to his position shaking his head. Tolis Mantouvalos was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Matias Oyen showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 3-0 in the 20 minute of play. In the 23rd minute Matias Oyen shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tolis Mantouvalos saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet as Matias Oyen kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Tolis Mantouvalos. That made the score 4-0 in the 25 minute of play. In the 28th minute the ball was on its way in behind Toutourouki f.c.'s goalkeeper Tolis Mantouvalos, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 29th minute Matias Oyen shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tolis Mantouvalos saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The Geetsvondel² fans' excitement grew in the 42nd match minute when Geetsvondel²'s Matias Oyen looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 6-0.
An unexpectedly hard shot by Matias Oyen in the 51st minute of play forced Toutourouki f.c.'s goalkeeper Tolis Mantouvalos to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Matias Oyen in the 54th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Tolis Mantouvalos saved Toutourouki f.c. from getting behind. When the match clock showed 54 minutes, the score became 7-0 when Matias Oyen sped through Toutourouki f.c.'s defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Tolis Mantouvalos. After 56 minutes, Giorgos Kazatzidis mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Toutourouki f.c. and the Geetsvondel² players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Geetsvondel² booed when Toutourouki f.c. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 56 match minutes in a wonderful position. Giorgos Kazatzidis didn't get a good kick on the ball. Matty Vandenbosch took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 57th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Tolis Mantouvalos. Toutourouki f.c.'s goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Matias Oyen in the 59th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Tolis Mantouvalos saved Toutourouki f.c. from getting behind. Toutourouki f.c.'s Tolis Mantouvalos played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Matias Oyen in the 66th minute of play. Giorgos Kazatzidis hit a great freekick 66 minutes into the match. Matias Oyen sent away a hard shot on goal in the 68th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 76 minutes into the match, Matias Oyen had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Tolis Mantouvalos. Toutourouki f.c.'s manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Matias Oyen was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 8-0. Tolis Mantouvalos showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Robbrecht Colebinders, who was totally free with the ball in the 81st minute. Tolis Mantouvalos showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Casimiro Jatsu in the 96th minute of the match. There was no doubt that Geetsvondel² were the better team. Geetsvondel²'s players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
