Los Payasitos's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Pipis Karapatakis was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. A very good chance. If Pipis Karapatakis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Grêmio FBPA's Jardel Sanches played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by 顾笑源 in the 42nd minute of play. Jardel Sanches didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from 顾笑源 went, in the 42nd minute, to the upper right corner, 2-1 was the resulting score. After 45 minutes, Pipis Karapatakis made it 2-2 with a short kick to the right side. Los Payasitos's Eduardo Coyences tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot.

Grêmio FBPA were unable to convert their possession into goals, allowing Los Payasitos to leave the ground with a draw.
