Spectators: 206 (Terracing: 155, Seating: 47, VIP seats: 4) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Zulkarnaen Mandaga kicked off to start the match. After a defensive mix-up in Sheriff's zone, Zulkarnaen Mandaga stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Yahia van der Saar came out of the goal and Zulkarnaen Mandaga tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 10th minute, Zulkarnaen Mandaga ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Yahia van der Saar was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Mekki Item made an important save on a dangerous shot by Clayton Gol in the 13th minute. Clayton Gol had several of the Bandung Tigers's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 13 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 1-1 score and a disappointed Mekki Item as he didn't even see the shot coming. Mekki Item stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Clayton Gol's shot from short distance in the 18th minute. In the 20th minute Zulkarnaen Mandaga shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Yahia van der Saar saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Sheriff's Yahia van der Saar played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Zulkarnaen Mandaga in the 26th minute of play. In the 29th minute, Wang Zheng Yun hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 32nd minute Zulkarnaen Mandaga shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Yahia van der Saar saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Clayton Gol in the 43rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Mekki Item saved Bandung Tigers from getting behind. 43 minutes in the game, Clayton Gol dribbled his way through the penalty area and after maneuvering past an opponent, drilled a quick shot at the goal. The ball looked like it was going in, but it was hit a bit too hard and flew over the goal. A collision led to Bandung Tigers getting a freekick after 46 minutes play. Xiao Jie De hit a great ball. Mekki Item showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Clayton Gol, who was totally free with the ball in the 47th minute. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Clayton Gol to make the kick off. Mekki Item took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Damaso Xacintu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Mekki Item showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Clayton Gol in the 55th minute of the match. Dagan Pavlovic charged in rather forcefully in the 56th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Dagan Pavlovic the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Sheriff's Dragoş Bălace was substituted for Dagan Pavlovic. In the 57th match minute, Sheriff was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dagan Pavlovic to maneuver through the defense. Yahia van der Saar stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Zulkarnaen Mandaga's shot from short distance in the 59th minute. Yahia van der Saar made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nistor Popilean in the 64th minute of play. Mekki Item showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Clayton Gol in the 66th minute of the match. Bandung Tigers's Mekki Item played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Damaso Xacintu in the 67th minute of play. In the 73rd minute of the match Akakios Trachanas shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Mekki Item showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. In the 76th minute Damaso Xacintu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mekki Item saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Yahia van der Saar showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nistor Popilean, who was totally free with the ball in the 78th minute. After a rather tough play, Sheriff's Damaso Xacintu got a free kick in the 80th minute. With a little luck, Sheriff's Yahia van der Saar got control of the ball when Zulkarnaen Mandaga tried to sneak it across the goal line. When Sheriff's Clayton Gol in the 84th minute got a chance for a shot 84th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. The excitement rose when Bandung Tigers's Xiao Jie De after 95 played minutes turned away three defenders near the goal, and after that shot a ball that was too difficult for Sheriff's goalkeeper to hold. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Bandung Tigers walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
