But to his dismay, Zulkarnaen Mandaga quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-5. Fausto do Valle was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Zulkarnaen Mandaga showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-6 in the 89 minute of play. Bandung Tigers's Fachri Puang was substituted for Nistor Popilean. Avantchê's Fausto do Valle played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Zulkarnaen Mandaga in the 96th minute of play. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Bandung Tigers eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
