Spectators: 195 (Terracing: 147, Seating: 45, VIP seats: 3) Gu Chang Peng made the kick off and thus started the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Gu Chang Peng in the 6th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Yahia van der Saar prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 7th minute, Clayton Gol left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Sheriff fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. With a little luck, Ripa FC's Aldo Mannie got control of the ball when Clayton Gol tried to sneak it across the goal line. A collision led to Ripa FC getting a freekick after 13 minutes play. Braulio Emeterio hit a great ball. Aldo Mannie showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Akakios Trachanas, who was totally free with the ball in the 13th minute. When Gu Chang Peng came up free with the goalie in the 21st minute, the Ripa FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gu Chang Peng couldn't finish the play. A throw-in in the 24th minute of the game was made by Iraklis Karasavvidis with Clayton Gol as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. When Ripa FC's Gu Chang Peng in the 25th minute got a chance for a shot 25th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Sheriff's goalie prevented a goal. Akakios Trachanas went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner led Sheriff's Akakios Trachanas to fire away a dangerous shot which Aldo Mannie despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. After 42 played minutes Akakios Trachanas scored with a long sweeping shot just to the left of Aldo Mannie who was too lazy, 2-1. With a little luck, Ripa FC's Aldo Mannie got control of the ball when Akakios Trachanas tried to sneak it across the goal line. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Clayton Gol was the one to do the kick off. Ripa FC's Aldo Mannie played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Clayton Gol in the 53rd minute of play. Aldo Mannie took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Clayton Gol, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Sheriff's Notis Filippas was substituted for Kostas Kapellos. Sheriff's Kutay Erbaş was substituted for Christodoulos Parlapipas. Sancho Denner made in the 58th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Ripa FC's Placido Pero. Gu Chang Peng sent away a hard shot on goal in the 58th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. The audience was convinced that Damaso Xacintu's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Aldo Mannie was relentless in the 84th minute of the game. Yahia van der Saar made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Placido Pero in the 86th minute of play. If Damaso Xacintu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Yahia van der Saar was out of position in the 95 minute of play, and Ricardo Bochini capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Ricardo Bochini really showed his touch with that goal: 4-2. Sheriff were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Ripa FC for a fine match.
