Erubiel Manni dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. The referee ignored Rejunte de perros's protests and gave Urbano Vimaro a yellow card for diving instead. After 47 played minutes Rejunte de perros got a freekick which was hit by Urbano Vimaro. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The wind increased when Epifanio Bertran made the kick off in the second half. Celestino Pietro got a throw-in 52 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Vasile Tufescu. 55 minutes into the match, Rejunte de perros's goal looked a bit too open when Vasile Tufescu came free, but Marcelo Armani reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Chacarita Jrs's defense didn't have a chance, in the 68th minute, when Thomás Barral scored to the left of an out of position Erubiel Manni, making the score, 0-2. Rejunte de perros made a substitution. Gabriel Osorio replaced Remigio James. Rogelio Funes Mori sent away a hard shot on goal in the 81st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Chacarita Jrs's Erubiel Manni proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 81st minute of the match, managed to save Chacarita Jrs from getting a goal against them. A sloppy throw-in by Celestino Pietro in the 87th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Rejunte de perros's Urbano Vimaro. The audience thought a goal was coming when Rogelio Funes Mori got free with Erubiel Manni in the 93rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 94 minutes into the game, Octavio Truylos was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Rejunte de perros's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Chacarita Jrs the free kick. The supporters of Chacarita Jrs booed when Rejunte de perros was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 94 match minutes in a wonderful position. Octavio Truylos didn't get a good kick on the ball. Epifanio Bertran's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Marcelo Armani read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 96th minute of play. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Rejunte de perros walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
