The tension between the GuateFortín and the Bordo Mavi players grew even worse after the yellow card. Bordo Mavi's Ahmet Ziya Zakir was substituted for Celal Kocakalp. In the 15th match minute, GuateFortín was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mario Gomez to maneuver through the defense. In the 19th minute Zico Zellier shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Aytaç Dilsafa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Nery Pumpido didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when Bordo Mavi's Bekir Zühtü shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 1-0 in the ordered_time% minute. In the 54th minute of the match GuateFortín got a corner. Bordo Mavi's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Angel Alvarenga ran over to the corner to take the kick. In the 54th minute, Roberto Trotta hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 56thth minute of the game Mario Gomez who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Bordo Mavi's Aytaç Dilsafa was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. GuateFortín's Nery Pumpido played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bekir Zühtü in the 59th minute of play. Nery Pumpido showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ludomir Dziatkowski in the 66th minute of the match. Nery Pumpido showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mircea Chircu, who was totally free with the ball in the 67th minute. Angel Alvarenga kicked well hit freekick during the 70th minute of the match. The supporters of Bordo Mavi booed when GuateFortín was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 72 match minutes in a wonderful position. Angel Alvarenga didn't get a good kick on the ball. Mario Gomez sent away a hard shot on goal in the 76th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. With a little luck, Bordo Mavi's Aytaç Dilsafa got control of the ball when William Villanueva tried to sneak it across the goal line. GuateFortín's Nery Pumpido played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bekir Zühtü in the 89th minute of play. In the 92ndth minute of the game Mircea Chircu who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but GuateFortín's Nery Pumpido was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. When the match clock showed 92 minutes, the score became 2-0 when Mircea Chircu sped through GuateFortín's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Nery Pumpido. For all the effort they put into the match, the GuateFortín players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Bordo Mavi.
