Arnulfo Dolfos took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 15th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Segundo Katia. HURACAN's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Segundo Katia stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Olivier Gilg's shot from short distance in the 17th minute. 21 minutes had been played when some careless play by HURACAN's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Song Xiong Hong was slow to take the kick. During this time DIPLOMATA FC PAB's players had a chance to rest. The corner first didn't look so dangerous but when Song Xiong Hong got the ball he succeeded in some way to get through the defenders to deliver a very hard score. Result 0-1. 22 minutes into the match. DIPLOMATA FC PAB's Arnulfo Dolfos managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Angel Jerrald in the 25 minute of the game. After 27 played minutes HURACAN got a freekick which was hit by Angel Jerrald. The throw-in from Angel Jerrald in the 30th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by DIPLOMATA FC PAB's Betinho Moreno. Olivier Gilg kicked well hit freekick during the 36th minute of the match. After some careless play in the HURACAN defense, Olivier Gilg kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Segundo Katia. The HURACAN fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Segundo Katia should have stopped the shot. After the first half DIPLOMATA FC PAB were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

DIPLOMATA FC PAB's Ramón Furtado was substituted for Olivier Gilg. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Ubaldo Guzman stepped up to make the kick off in the second half.
