Domingo Clis blasted a shot towards the goal in the 14th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Geofredo Fox having to make a save. 14 minutes into the match, North Port UTD's goalkeeper Geofredo Fox had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Domingo Clis. Miguel Ángel Torres took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dumitru Enoaia, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Domingo Clis in the 16th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Geofredo Fox prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 17thth minute of the game Domingo Clis who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but North Port UTD's Geofredo Fox was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Geofredo Fox made a fantastic save in the 18th minute, when Domingo Clis sent off a good shot on target. In the 20th minute, LA LUZ F.C.'s Domingo Clis dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-1. 23 minutes into the match, Domingo Clis had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Geofredo Fox. North Port UTD's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Domingo Clis was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-1. In the 27th minute LA LUZ F.C. were awarded a corner. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 3-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Geofredo Fox didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Domingo Clis went, in the 32nd minute, to the upper right corner, 4-1 was the resulting score. If Domingo Clis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. The audience thought a goal was coming when Domingo Clis got free with Geofredo Fox in the 41st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 5-1 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Dieguito Maradona made a kick off. In the 55th minute Jailson Britto shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Geofredo Fox saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Hakkı Deniz Danış blasted a shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Miguel Ángel Torres having to make a save. Hakkı Deniz Danış's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Miguel Ángel Torres firmly grabbed it by the left post. With a little luck, LA LUZ F.C.'s Miguel Ángel Torres got control of the ball when Dumitru Enoaia tried to sneak it across the goal line. With his leg Miguel Ángel Torres managed to avoid a goal in the 80thth minute, when North Port UTD's Dumitru Enoaia fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Dumitru Enoaia could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 82nd minute of the match, but Miguel Ángel Torres made a huge save. 83 minutes into the match, North Port UTD's goal looked a bit too open when Jailson Britto came free, but Geofredo Fox reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
