The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Avraam Iasonidis showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mustafa Haydar Taci, who was totally free with the ball in the 5th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Adalberto Figueiredo in the 9th minute of play forced Club Ahja's goalkeeper Avraam Iasonidis to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Adalberto Figueiredo in the 10th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Avraam Iasonidis saved Club Ahja from getting behind. 14 minutes into the game, Hardo Kangur was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Club Ahja's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Bastioes EC the free kick. In the 14th minute, Hardo Kangur hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 38 minutes of play, Bastioes EC's Adalberto Figueiredo made it 0-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Avraam Iasonidis was left in no man's land by his defense there! Avraam Iasonidis stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Adalberto Figueiredo's shot from short distance in the 41st minute. If Udo Nigula had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 48 minutes, Zé Augusto Fonseca mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Bastioes EC and the Club Ahja players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 48 played minutes Bastioes EC got a freekick which was hit by Zé Augusto Fonseca. Disappointed in the 0-4 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The wind increased when Adalberto Figueiredo made the kick off in the second half. A hard shot 55 in the game by Mustafa Haydar Taci from a close distance when the talented Avraam Iasonidis managed to make a qualified save. Club Ahja's players were relieved. Mustafa Haydar Taci could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 56th minute of the match, but Avraam Iasonidis made a huge save. The audience thought a goal was coming when Mustafa Haydar Taci got free with Avraam Iasonidis in the 58th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the last second Avraam Iasonidis throw himself and got hold of the ball when Adalberto Figueiredo in the 62ndth minute from his position got away a shot towards the right post. An unexpectedly hard shot by Adalberto Figueiredo in the 71st minute of play forced Club Ahja's goalkeeper Avraam Iasonidis to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 72nd minute of the match Bastioes EC got a corner. Club Ahja's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Mustafa Haydar Taci struck a weak shot in the 75th minute. Avraam Iasonidis didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Bastioes EC. Mustafa Haydar Taci's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Avraam Iasonidis read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 75th minute of play. In the 78th minute of the match, Adalberto Figueiredo tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Avraam Iasonidis saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. When Bastioes EC's Adalberto Figueiredo, in the 84th minute, received a pass right in front of the net, it looked like a certain goal, but his shot went outside. A wasted opportunity for Bastioes EC. Adalberto Figueiredo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 85th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
