Carlos Augusto Arósio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lauro Moreira, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the last second Carlos Augusto Arósio throw himself and got hold of the ball when Herman Arvidsson in the 10thth minute from his position got away a shot towards the right post. Serafin Eate stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ferdi Saksø's shot from short distance in the 17th minute. 24 minutes into the match, Club Atletico Chusca's goal looked a bit too open when Ahmet Reha Pekel came free, but Serafin Eate reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Carlos Augusto Arósio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lauro Moreira in the 29th minute of the match. 30 minutes into the match, Zemantauskas FC's Ahmet Reha Pekel sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Serafin Eate narrowly saved just below the crossbar. If Lauro Moreira had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 45 minutes into the game, Pedro Luís Senna was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Zemantauskas FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Club Atletico Chusca the free kick. After 45 played minutes Zemantauskas FC got a freekick which was hit by Pedro Luís Senna.

Club Atletico Chusca made a substitution. Leonardo Gumaro replaced Baldomero Montae. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Ferdi Saksø stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 57 minutes into the match, Zemantauskas FC's goal looked a bit too open when Lauro Moreira came free, but Carlos Augusto Arósio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some careless play in the Zemantauskas FC defense, Lauro Moreira kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Carlos Augusto Arósio. The Zemantauskas FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Carlos Augusto Arósio should have stopped the shot. Ahmet Reha Pekel came free with the goalkeeper in the 61st minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Serafin Eate could save by the left post. Carlos Augusto Arósio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lauro Moreira, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Lauro Moreira might have been able to make a better finish in the 64th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Carlos Augusto Arósio. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Lauro Moreira ran back to his position shaking his head. William Cavalcante made in the 66th minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Nilson Freire. Carlos Augusto Arósio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lauro Moreira in the 73rd minute of the match. Lauro Moreira sent away a hard shot on goal in the 74th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Zemantauskas FC's Carlos Augusto Arósio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lauro Moreira in the 74th minute of play. In the 81st minute, Richie Craig ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Carlos Augusto Arósio was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-0. Lauro Moreira struck a weak shot in the 93rd minute. Carlos Augusto Arósio didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Club Atletico Chusca. When William Cavalcante fell near the penalty area in the 94th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Zemantauskas FC's protests and gave William Cavalcante a yellow card for diving instead. In the 95th match minute, Zemantauskas FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by William Cavalcante to maneuver through the defense. When Lauro Moreira came up free with the goalie in the 96th minute, the Club Atletico Chusca fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Lauro Moreira couldn't finish the play. There was no doubt that Club Atletico Chusca were the better team. Club Atletico Chusca's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
