In the 3rd minute the ball was on its way in behind CRS Pogoń Barlinek's goalkeeper Roland Klimkiewicz, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Zbigniew Dziurowicz in the 8th minute of play forced KS Olimpia Warszawa's goalkeeper Tolek Czeberowski to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 10 minutes into the match, KS Olimpia Warszawa's goal looked a bit too open when Zbigniew Dziurowicz came free, but Tolek Czeberowski reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Wincent Rode got free with Tolek Czeberowski in the 15th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After some fancy dribbling in the 16th minute, Wincent Rode managed to get in a good position for a shot. CRS Pogoń Barlinek's supporters rose to their feet, but Wincent Rode was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Tolek Czeberowski breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by Damazy Joks in the 17th minute of play forced CRS Pogoń Barlinek's goalkeeper Roland Klimkiewicz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The corner went over the outstretched arms of CRS Pogoń Barlinek's goalie and right to Fabiano Carneiro. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. CRS Pogoń Barlinek's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. CRS Pogoń Barlinek's Roland Klimkiewicz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Damazy Joks in the 22nd minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Wincent Rode got free with Tolek Czeberowski in the 23rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Roland Klimkiewicz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Damazy Joks in the 26th minute of the match. 27 minutes into the match, CRS Pogoń Barlinek's goal looked a bit too open when Damazy Joks came free, but Roland Klimkiewicz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 44th minute, Jan Kornatowski hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Wincent Rode was the one to do the kick off. 51 minutes into the match, CRS Pogoń Barlinek's goalkeeper Roland Klimkiewicz had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Damazy Joks. In the 52nd minute Bogumil Pochorylo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tolek Czeberowski saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the match had gone on for 54 minutes, Damazy Joks took a quick shot and it went in 0-1 without a chance for Roland Klimkiewicz to make any attempt to save it. After a rather tough play, CRS Pogoń Barlinek's Fryderyk Domeradzki got a free kick in the 56th minute. KS Olimpia Warszawa's Tolek Czeberowski played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Zbigniew Dziurowicz in the 79th minute of play. A nice corner shot did that Bogumil Pochorylo got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Tolek Czeberowski quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. KS Olimpia Warszawa's Sharma Sharma was substituted for Damazy Joks. 86 minutes into the match, Sharma Sharma had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Roland Klimkiewicz. CRS Pogoń Barlinek's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Sharma Sharma was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-3. Sharma Sharma's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Roland Klimkiewicz read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 91st minute of play. The KS Olimpia Warszawa players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
