Alketas Tsirakis could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 15th minute of the match, but Fulvio Di Florio made a huge save. Amos Fata's late challenge caught a ♏ⒶⓃⒶⓈⓉⒶⓈⒾ Ⓕ.Ⓒ♏'s player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Amos Fata helped the player get up and apologised. In the 17th minute, Amos Fata hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Harry Kane struck a weak shot in the 23rd minute. In the 41st minute of the match, Alketas Tsirakis got a very nice opportunity to score, but Fulvio Di Florio was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. After a rather tough play, Bisturi F.C.'s Ermanno Scarinci got a free kick in the 42nd minute. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

Dionysis Souanis received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 71st minute. Maarten De Malier took the ball and in the 81 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Fulvio Di Florio. Fulvio Di Florio dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-0. Fulvio Di Florio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Paraskevas Panagiotakos, who was totally free with the ball in the 88th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Maarten De Malier in the 91st minute of play forced Bisturi F.C.'s goalkeeper Fulvio Di Florio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 91stth minute of the game Maarten De Malier who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Bisturi F.C.'s Fulvio Di Florio was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After some careless play in the Bisturi F.C. defense, Maarten De Malier kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Fulvio Di Florio. The Bisturi F.C. fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Fulvio Di Florio should have stopped the shot. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match.
