After 9 minutes of play, the xeneise dream team's Habil Castolo made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Acácio Vasco was left in no man's land by his defense there! Ibis Football Club's Acácio Vasco proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 13th minute of the match, managed to save Ibis Football Club from getting a goal against them. After some fancy dribbling in the 16th minute, Eurico Peixoto managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ibis Football Club's supporters rose to their feet, but Eurico Peixoto was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Vinicio Aires breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 18 minutes into the game, Ibis Football Club's Eurico Peixoto nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Vinicio Aires made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. In the 22nd minute, Rachid Baba Ali Beckenbauer hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Habil Castolo to make the kick off. Acácio Vasco took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Habil Castolo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 54th minute of the match the xeneise dream team got a corner. Ibis Football Club's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Andoni Paut ran over to the corner to take the kick. After taking down the ball on the xeneise dream team's corner Andoni Paut fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Acácio Vasco quite easily take care of the ball. Per-Oskar Nordstedt kicked well hit freekick during the 56th minute of the match. If Habil Castolo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Habil Castolo in the 60th minute a chance for a shot on goal. Acácio Vasco didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for the xeneise dream team. The audience was convinced that Habil Castolo's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Acácio Vasco was relentless in the 73rd minute of the game. In the 78th minute Paolo Eutor shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Acácio Vasco saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of the xeneise dream team booed when Ibis Football Club was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 81 match minutes in a wonderful position. Amauri Lago didn't get a good kick on the ball. Paolo Eutor took the ball and in the 82 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Acácio Vasco. Acácio Vasco dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-1. 84 minutes into the match, Ibis Football Club's goal looked a bit too open when Isaac Sundberg came free, but Acácio Vasco reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A throw-in in the 89th minute of the game was made by Roque Mercurio with Paolo Eutor as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. Isaac Sundberg struck a weak shot in the 90th minute. Acácio Vasco didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for the xeneise dream team. The audience thought a goal was coming when Amauri Lago got free with Vinicio Aires in the 92nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 93 minutes into the game, Eurico Peixoto recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Vinicio Aires. Eurico Peixoto showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 3-2.
