After a rather tough play, Ovalle City's Osman Ayvazoğlu got a free kick in the 6th minute. Alisson Becker made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Anacleto Mascayano in the 8th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Ovalle City's Omar Palma got a free kick in the 15th minute. Adrian Zbora came free with the goalkeeper in the 16th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Pawel Siedlecki could save by the left post. After 19 played minutes Buffalo Timişoara got a freekick which was hit by Dan Zdrobău. 26 minutes into the match, Joe Uytterhaegen notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Buffalo Timişoara's Alisson Becker. Alisson Becker was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 33rd minute, Adrian Zbora fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. A hard shot by Emil Banciu from long distance, 44 minutes into the match, got Pawel Siedlecki's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Augusto Benitez was the one to do the kick off. Pawel Siedlecki took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Albert Turdeanu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Pawel Siedlecki showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Albert Turdeanu in the 53rd minute of the match. In the 64th minute, Severino Coutinho hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Adrian Zbora might have been able to make a better finish in the 66th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Pawel Siedlecki. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Adrian Zbora ran back to his position shaking his head. Pawel Siedlecki stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Augusto Benitez's shot from short distance in the 69th minute. In the 71st minute, Osman Ayvazoğlu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Adrian Zbora scored 1-1 in the 83rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Pawel Siedlecki, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Anacleto Mascayano recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 87th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Maxim Pintilie kicked well hit freekick during the 88th minute of the match. 92 minutes into the match, Augusto Benitez had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Pawel Siedlecki. Ovalle City's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Augusto Benitez was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-1. Buffalo Timişoara's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
