The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. The audience was convinced that Stanislaw Kolbe's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Cecilio Lastur was relentless in the 3rd minute of the game. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Carlos Carnicero in the 11th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Cecilio Lastur saved Talleres from getting behind. In the 15th minute, Lu Xiao Kuan left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The KS Luxik Ruda Śląska fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Alfredo Tab sent away a hard shot on goal in the 18th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Cecilio Lastur showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Boleslaw Czubski in the 21st minute of the match. After some careless play in the Talleres defense, Stanislaw Kolbe kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Cecilio Lastur. The Talleres fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Cecilio Lastur should have stopped the shot. 26 minutes into the match, Talleres's goal looked a bit too open when Lu Xiao Kuan came free, but Cecilio Lastur reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 30th minute Josef Tunberg shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Iwo Dombroski saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Talleres's Cecilio Lastur played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Carlos Carnicero in the 31st minute of play. Cecilio Lastur showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Carlos Carnicero, who was totally free with the ball in the 41st minute. In the 45th minute Carlos Carnicero shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cecilio Lastur saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-3.

Talleres's Lukita Modrić was substituted for Sergiu Bulencea. The referee felt a red card was in order, 53 minutes into the game, when Izydor Bugajski put in a rough tackle. In the 53rd minute, one of Talleres:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Talleres. Carlos Carnicero placed the ball on the penalty spot and got himself ready to shoot. Post out! An unexpectedly hard shot by Boleslaw Czubski in the 60th minute of play forced Talleres's goalkeeper Cecilio Lastur to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Josef Tunberg's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Iwo Dombroski read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 64th minute of play. In the 65th minute Talleres were awarded a corner. Jorge Martínez went to the cornerflag to take it. Cecilio Lastur was a little too slow when Stanislaw Kolbe got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 77th minute. The score was now 0-4. Peker Durusoy might have been able to make a better finish in the 80th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Iwo Dombroski. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Peker Durusoy ran back to his position shaking his head. Stanislaw Kolbe who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 83rdth minute tested the skills of Cecilio Lastur when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Stanislaw Kolbe had several of the Talleres's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 83 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 0-5 score and a disappointed Cecilio Lastur as he didn't even see the shot coming. Peker Durusoy sent away a hard shot on goal in the 88th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 88th minute Peker Durusoy shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Iwo Dombroski saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet as Carlos Carnicero kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Cecilio Lastur. That made the score 0-6 in the 92 minute of play. Josef Tunberg charged in rather forcefully in the 99th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Josef Tunberg the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Talleres's Josef Tunberg got a free kick in the 99th minute. Cecilio Lastur acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 100th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Szymon Gregorczyk. KS Luxik Ruda Śląska's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
