Sundens BK's Börje Törnblom got a good chance for a goal in the 5th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a defensive mix-up in Lautaro L.P.'s zone, Eustaquio Pudes stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Salvador Ortega came out of the goal and Eustaquio Pudes tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Börje Törnblom charged in rather forcefully in the 9th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Börje Törnblom the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Sundens BK getting a freekick after 9 minutes play. Börje Törnblom hit a great ball. Sundens BK's Axel Mellberg played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gary Medel in the 14th minute of play. In the 16th minute, Andolín Echeandía ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Axel Mellberg was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. When Qi Jun Xiang came up free with the goalie in the 36th minute, the Lautaro L.P. fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Qi Jun Xiang couldn't finish the play. In the 38th minute the ball was on its way in behind Sundens BK's goalkeeper Axel Mellberg, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 39th minute of the match Lautaro L.P. got a corner. Sundens BK's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Qi Jun Xiang ran over to the corner to take the kick. After 43 played minutes Lautaro L.P. got a freekick which was hit by Fulco Urra. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Andolín Echeandía to strike the kick off in the second half. Leif Offendahl hit a great freekick 53 minutes into the match. In the 55th minute, Fulco Urra got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Qi Jun Xiang could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 56th minute of the match, but Axel Mellberg made a huge save. In the 56th minute, Lautaro L.P.'s Qi Jun Xiang ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Axel Mellberg. Axel Mellberg yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-2. With an all-out effort, Lautaro L.P.'s Axel Mellberg threw himself towards the right post 62 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Andolín Echeandía, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. In the 64th minute, Qi Jun Xiang got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Lautaro L.P.'s Franz Kafka was substituted for Fulco Urra. Sundens BK's Eustaquio Pudes got a good chance for a goal in the 68th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Birger Wall during the 70th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 70th minute, Birger Wall hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 75th minute the ball was on its way in behind Sundens BK's goalkeeper Axel Mellberg, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After 76 minutes Sundens BK's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Qi Jun Xiang who took care of the corner kick. The corner ended in Gary Medel almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Sundens BK's Axel Mellberg did a great save. The audience thought a goal was coming when Qi Jun Xiang got free with Axel Mellberg in the 78th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. An unexpectedly hard shot by Andolín Echeandía in the 80th minute of play forced Sundens BK's goalkeeper Axel Mellberg to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Andolín Echeandía had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Axel Mellberg showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Andolín Echeandía, who was totally free with the ball in the 84th minute. Lautaro L.P.'s Heliodoro Jelves was substituted for Qi Jun Xiang. Beven Carmichael kicked well hit freekick during the 89th minute of the match. Axel Mellberg made an important save on a dangerous shot by Wang Peng in the 90th minute. Heliodoro Jelves sent away a hard shot on goal in the 94th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Lautaro L.P.'s fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
