Jake Leonard showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Artuir Ramsey in the 8th minute of the match. When Olgun Oktay came up free with the goalie in the 9th minute, the COPERNICUS TORUŃ fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Olgun Oktay couldn't finish the play. WINNING ELEVEN's Jake Leonard played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Artuir Ramsey in the 12th minute of play. 15 minutes into the match, WINNING ELEVEN's goal looked a bit too open when Tahsin Atacan came free, but Jake Leonard reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Gordon Horgan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ringo Howard, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. WINNING ELEVEN's Jake Leonard proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 24th minute of the match, managed to save WINNING ELEVEN from getting a goal against them. After 30 played minutes COPERNICUS TORUŃ got a freekick which was hit by Damiano Moriggi. Through an outstanding action, after 34 minutes, Jake Leonard successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. A sloppy throw-in by Damiano Moriggi in the 35th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by WINNING ELEVEN's Neron Veterini. 37 minutes into the match, Fred Nilsson notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of COPERNICUS TORUŃ's Gordon Horgan. Gordon Horgan was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. A collision led to COPERNICUS TORUŃ getting a freekick after 40 minutes play. Artuir Ramsey hit a great ball. The supporters of WINNING ELEVEN booed when COPERNICUS TORUŃ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 43 match minutes in a wonderful position. Artuir Ramsey didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 44th minute, Fred Nilsson got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Fred Nilsson might have been able to make a better finish in the 62nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Gordon Horgan. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Fred Nilsson ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 80th match minute, WINNING ELEVEN was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Leonel Cordaro to maneuver through the defense. Fulgencio Xabel kicked well hit freekick during the 82nd minute of the match. Jake Leonard made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tahsin Atacan in the 84th minute of play. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Gordon Horgan prevented the ball from getting in the gole. A nice corner shot did that Fred Nilsson got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Gordon Horgan quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. When the match had gone on for 93 minutes, Fred Nilsson put it in 0-5 from a short distance just to the right of Gordon Horgan. The COPERNICUS TORUŃ supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching WINNING ELEVEN's performance. The match ended with a win for WINNING ELEVEN.
