When the match clock showed 24 minutes, the score became 0-3 when Sean Hollingsworth sped through FC STEAUA BRAILA's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Aron Hârțan. Aron Hârțan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Noel Whittaker, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Benji Corby succeeded in the game's 40th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 0-4. Aron Hârțan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Benji Corby, who was totally free with the ball in the 44th minute. The FC STEAUA BRAILA players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Dorking United FC were winning 0-4.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Korneliusz Kocieniewski was the one to do the kick off. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Korneliusz Kocieniewski in the 52nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Isaac Prutton saved Dorking United FC from getting behind. Aron Hârțan stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Benji Corby's shot from short distance in the 57th minute. Benji Corby had several of the FC STEAUA BRAILA's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 58 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 0-5 score and a disappointed Aron Hârțan as he didn't even see the shot coming. The long shot by Karl Fletcher in the 63rd minute really tested Aron Hârțan's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. In the 82nd minute, Bruno Riccardi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Benji Corby received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Aron Hârțan came out and tried to block the shot, but Benji Corby slotted it home off the left post making it 0-6 in the 83rd minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Noel Whittaker in the 86th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Aron Hârțan prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 89th match minute, FC STEAUA BRAILA was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bruno Riccardi to maneuver through the defense. The FC STEAUA BRAILA fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Dorking United FC were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
