The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Anson Anthony came out of the goal in the 4th minute to try and stop a shot by Baby Snakes's Archie Greenwood. But to his dismay, Archie Greenwood quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Ron Tomkin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from John McCain in the 8th minute of the match. Anson Anthony showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Archie Greenwood, who was totally free with the ball in the 10th minute. Ron Tomkin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from John McCain in the 12th minute of play. Houston Fire F.C.'s Anson Anthony played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Archie Greenwood in the 13th minute of play. After some careless play in the Houston Fire F.C. defense, Archie Greenwood kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Anson Anthony. The Houston Fire F.C. fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Anson Anthony should have stopped the shot. Erwin Schrödinger kicked well hit freekick during the 17th minute of the match. After 18 played minutes, Houston Fire F.C.'s Orville Salinas shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Ron Tomkin came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Houston Fire F.C. reached it. 21 minutes into the game, Marcellus Rodgers threw the ball into play from the sideline. Baby Snakes's Genílson Figueiredo quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. Joel Tudor hit a great freekick 26 minutes into the match. Ron Tomkin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dexter Ogden in the 28th minute of play. Anson Anthony made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Erwin Schrödinger in the 30th minute of play. After 37 played minutes Baby Snakes got a freekick which was hit by Krasimir Balakov. 41 minutes into the match, Houston Fire F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Archie Greenwood came free, but Anson Anthony reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 42 played minutes Baby Snakes got a freekick which was hit by Krasimir Balakov. A collision led to Houston Fire F.C. getting a freekick after 45 minutes play. Dexter Ogden hit a great ball. Archie Greenwood fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Anson Anthony having to interfere.

The wind increased when Archie Greenwood made the kick off in the second half. 51 minutes into the match, Houston Fire F.C.'s goalkeeper Anson Anthony had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Archie Greenwood. 53 minutes into the match, Baby Snakes's goal looked a bit too open when Deshawn Steiner came free, but Ron Tomkin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience held their breath when Blake Rice in the 58th minute of the game managed to trick the opponents defenses and fired away a shot outside the goal on the Ron Tomkin's left hand side. Through an outstanding action, after 60 minutes, Anson Anthony successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. In the 62nd minute Deshawn Steiner shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ron Tomkin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 64 minutes into the match, Archie Greenwood dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Anson Anthony, 0-3. 68 minutes into the match, Baby Snakes's goal looked a bit too open when Deshawn Steiner came free, but Ron Tomkin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Dexter Ogden scored 1-3 in the 70th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Ron Tomkin, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 73rdth minute of the game Dexter Ogden who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Baby Snakes's Ron Tomkin was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 76 minutes into the match, Baby Snakes's goal looked a bit too open when Deshawn Steiner came free, but Ron Tomkin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 78th minute Louis Escobedo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ron Tomkin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of Baby Snakes booed when Houston Fire F.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 83 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lawrence Esquivel didn't get a good kick on the ball.
